I started a cost section over at 66912.com that still receives a lot of traffic. Because I wasn't spending significant amounts of money of the 912 I didn't mind tracking it online. This is a different case for the 964. Frankly, I didn't want my wife poking around the cost section and using it against me (seriously, that was the main reason).
So things have occurred that have made all my associated costs known to everyone, so I'm putting the information up here as an aid for those that are curious. I know when you purchase a classic vehicle you aren't done there - a lot can go into maintaining it. Dave Hillman started this on his site, and I have since borrowed the idea.
I'm going though all my receipts for the past 2 years (wow, I've owned her for almost 2 years) and converting them over to here. Like I did on the 912 site, I'll start with the majors, then work my way down by date. I'll try and keep a total for all those interested. I might work gas into the list (man, what a pain that will be) because I do save all those receipts as well. |
