Top Gear : Budget Porsche’s
I was doing research for work (seriously, I was) and I found this. Freaking hilarious. From back in 2004, the guys take a 924, 928, 944, and drive to Brighton. $2K (£1500 quid). It’s quality Top Gear. For those that have issues with the video above, here is the direct link:

Side note, I would love to buy a beater for $2000 and play around with it. Wife would kill me. I’d want to spend even more on fixing her up, we’d fight, my HOA would see it as a blight on the street and fine me, wouldn’t pass inspection… sounds like a freaking blast.

May 3rd, 2009 at 3:39 amI have no idea where these guys get their ideas from. Over here in the UK they’ve just taken a Panamera and raced it against the national postal service to see if they can get from one end of the country to the other quicker than a letter they posted.
